FTB128 F-SCAN4
€7,690.00*
The F-SCAN4 offers the widest range of functions in our product family. With the colour screen, combined with an optimised operating concept, all possibilities for frequency application are available. With the optionally available ChipCard, programmes can be transferred to the F-SCAN COMPACT, for example. The F-SCAN3 is extremely easy to operate and is ideal for continuous use.
Version
The F-SCAN4 is fully equipped including USB connection and requires no further accessories for operation. For trained users who have mastered the EAP function, the EAP option is available and can be purchased separately. The built-in rechargeable battery enables mains-independent operation for 4-6 hours. Multifunction output, broadband output and PowerPort are available as outputs.
The battery is charged via the USB cable supplied with a charger.
Features
Adjustable signal strength for sine and square wave
OSCA - the new standard for current control
DIRP for standard scans
SUB SCAN mode for specific scans
Advanced functions: up to 6 parameters can be assigned to a frequency:
Waveform selectable (sine, square, full wave, smart)
WOBBLE with adjustable wobble - range
ENVELOPE (envelope function)
TIMER - function
Graphic colour screen with touch sensitive surface (Touch Screen)
Frequency selection
Complete memory management with large integrated memory
Zoom adjustment for graphic DIRP analysis
Universal output (multiplex) switchable:
Sine for 0.01 Hz to 3 MHz , DC-OFFSET at multifunction output
Sine 0.01 Hz to 15 MHz at wideband output
Square wave for 0.01 Hz to 100 kHz with adjustable signal strength, FULL WAVE at multifunction output
Square wave for 0.01 Hz to 100 kHz with adjustable signal strength, DC-OFFSET at the multifunction output
SMART waveform for increased efficiency
Separate broadband output for working in the megahertz range up to 15 MHz at 5Vpp (volt-peak-peak)
PowerPort simultaneously available at own connection
Creation of tables with 460 entries possible.
Optionally available EAP function.
Special features
Output: The waveform can be selected as desired for each programmed frequency. There is no need for tedious plugging.
Parallel use of the frequencies on the PowerPort or on the WIDE output is possible...
Operating concept: By selecting one of the main menus, the functions and settings offered there can be easily recognised and, if necessary, changed by touch. The unit supports the preparation of common applications through factory presets and is thus quickly ready for use. Dimensions 205 mm x 140 mm x 30 mm. LCD: VGA 800 * 480 pixels.
The SMART signal form combines the main wave with a high frequency and thus serves to increase efficiency.
The use of the standard ChipCard serves for the convenient exchange of applications with F-SCAN COMPACT devices.
The broadband output enables analysis and application in the megahertz range.
The use of the ChipCard PLUS serves for the exchange of data between F-SCAN MOBILE and F-SCAN3 devices.
OSCA the new standard
OSCA is the abbreviation for "Output Signal Control Algorithm" and is used for constant current control according to a specially developed algorithm. This method was specially developed by TB-Electronics. The output signal is controlled and displayed in real time according to requirements. The very sensitive procedure measures currents in the microampere range and regulates the output voltage according to the set waveform and impedance.
Electrical currents generated by frequency generators are load dependent (load is what is connected to the output). The "load" does not behave linearly, but constantly changes its characteristics depending on frequency, waveform and signal strength. Through OSCA and precise current control, higher efficiency of the application is achieved because the influence of the load is constantly compensated.
OSCA is introduced for the first time with the F-SCAN4. Settings "OFF", "SENSITIVE", "STANDARD" and "HIGH" are possible. If OSCA="OFF" is selected, the current regulator is deactivated and a constant output voltage can be set as before.
The combination of DIRP (scanning by feedback) and OSCA is unique and serves for further optimisation.

The F SCAN MOBILE NT is the convenient link between the F-SCAN COMPACT and the F-SCAN3. The coloured screen with touch-sensitive surface replaces a keyboard. Settings are made and functions triggered by touching a symbol on the screen with the operating pen. Operation is easy to learn.
Product features
Fast response to operator commands
DIRP analysis function with graphical display of results
Multi-signal output for sine, square and smart curve
Additional power output for driving lamps or magnets
Adjustment control for square wave signal strength
Memory with capacity for 100 data sets, each with up to 50 frequencies, the associated parameters and any DIRP analysis results obtained
Special functions selectable: SENSITIVITY, WOBBLE, SWEEP
Frequency range and step size adjustable for DIRP and SWEEP
Frequency range of the sine signals 0.01 Hz to 3 MHz
Frequency range of the square-wave signals 0.01 Hz to 100 kHz
Timer adjustable per frequency
Tables with up to 460 entries can be created.
Special features
Multi-signal output: All signal forms are output at one output of the unit. The unit automatically switches internally to the sine or square waveform depending on the frequency. Below 65'000Hz square wave, above sine wave. However, the user can manually assign one of the available waveforms to each frequency.
The SMART signal form combines the main wave with a high frequency and thus serves to increase efficiency.
The use of the standard ChipCard serves the convenient exchange of applications with F-SCAN COMPACT devices.
The use of the ChipCard PLUS serves the exchange of data between F-SCAN MOBILE NT and F-SCAN3 devices.
